With our distance learning course option, you will receive all course lectures on DVD, enabling you to learn at your own pace prior to attending a question and answer review seminar or webinar. Having the lectures on DVD ensures you will have a professional instructor at your desktop for life!
You should view all of the DVD lectures, make notes, and record questions prior to attending the review session. Sessions are offered in various formats, times and places throughout the year. Following your attendance, the certification exam will be available to take online at your convenience.
The class fee includes as many review webinars as you wish to attend. Attendance should be within one year of enrolling – please see registration information for details.
Course Enrollment and Registration Information
- Two-hour Q&A Webinars will be conducted using Microsoft Live Meeting. Questions and answers to frequently asked technical problems will be provided to participants by experienced designers and installers of ground source heat pump systems. The opportunity to ask CGD study guide questions and other technical questions will be available before taking the CGD exam.
- GoTo Meeting is a video conferencing program. Participants use a headset for talking and listening through their computer. A link will be provided in your training materials to register and connect to CGD Live Meeting. CGD Live Meeting Q/A Webinar will be offered once a month. Course materials will be shipped within three (3) business days of enrolling. You are considered enrolled in the course when you register and you have one year from enrolling to complete the course, attend a webinar(s), and take the test. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org when you are ready to attend a webinar and instructions will be emailed to you.
Fees and Cancellation Policy:
Fee: $1665 and includes UPS ground shipping of your materials.
Course materials will be shipped within 3 business days of enrolling. The full tuition fee will be refunded if you cancel your enrollment within two (2) weeks of receiving your materials and you return all materials unopened. You will be responsible for return shipping costs and it is strongly recommended that you insure your shipment.
The fee for webinars is included in the course fee and there is no discount for not attending any review sessions. You have one year from your enrollment date to register and attend a Q&A webinar without additional fees. After one year, additional fees are charged for new and revised materials.
All online webinars are subject to cancellation by IGSHPA. IGSHPA will email participants in the event of a cancellation.
