New Installer Workshop for Installer Trainers
Dr. Charles Remund the author of the new "Residential and Light Commercial Design and Installation Manual" will present new PowerPoint slides for the IGSHPA Installer's Course. This two day course will concentrate on the new PowerPoint slides and the method of presentation for the Installer Trainer. The following topics will be covered:
- Introduction & Overview
- Thermal Properties of Soil and Rock
- Piping Materials, Properties & Flow Characteristics
- Design of Closed-Loop Ground Heat Exchanger
- Installing the Closed-Loop GHEX Piping System
- System Flushing & Purging
- Grouting Procedures for Ground Source Heat Pumps
- GSHP Startup, Performance Checking and Troubleshooting
